In service to social justice, Advent House Ministries empowers equity for all people through support to build and promote safety, stability and sustainability of basic human needs.

In order to build a community of empowered equity, Advent House Ministries is committed to constructive and collaborative leadership, strong community partnerships and a passion for breaking down barriers, while providing a foundation of service that restores dignity to all community members we serve.
Our Impact
Advent House Ministries is committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:
Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) & Rapid Rehousing (RRH) Programs:
- 161 individuals (adults and children) supported through housing programs.
- 65 persons served from special populations, including young adults, veterans, seniors, and domestic violence survivors.
- 11 individuals achieved permanent housing this year.
- 28 individuals (adults and children) received Thanksgiving baskets.
- Anticipating assisting 10 individuals for Christmas support.
Weekend Day Shelter (January 1 – November 18, 2024):
- 33,975 meals served.
- 2,132 individuals provided essential services.
- 160 veterans, 70 children, and 280 senior citizens received support.
Housing Navigation Program (HNP):
- 210 households enrolled and served.
Special populations include 4 seniors (65+ years old), 4 transgender individuals, and 3 veterans.
- 30 households secured permanent housing through HNP services.
- 21 referrals received in the past two months (October & November 2024).

- Q: How do I get housing help?
A: Please contact us to discuss your housing situation to see how we can help.
- Q: What are Weekend Day Shelter hours?
A: Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Q: If I’m hungry, how can you help?
A: During business hours, we provide sack lunches when available to anyone in need who comes to our door. We also provide contacts to community resources.
- Q: If I’m on the street, how can you help?
A: We will put you in contact with a member of one of our outreach teams.
